FUTURE-ORIENTED MEETING TECHNOLOGY CITY, YEOSU

Located on the southern seaside of the Korean Peninsula, Yeosu is well suited as a clean and safe destination. It boasts a beautiful ocean view. Yeosu is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Korea as tourism trends have shifted from international to domestic since the spread of COVID-19. In particular, city people come here for marine activities and resort vacations.

With the success of EXPO 2012 Yeosu, the grand-scale Expo Ocean Park right on the coast becomes the main venue for meeting and convention. The centerpiece of the complex includes the Yeosu Expo Convention Center, the largest and most modern facility in Korea. BALANCE OF NATURE, TECHNOLOGY, AND HISTORICAL CULTURE

While Yeosu is a beautiful city that shows the balance of nature and architecture, the nearby city of Suncheon is Korea’s center of ecology with Suncheonman Bay Wetland designated by UNESCO in 2018 as a biosphere reserve. Suncheonman Bay National Garden is the first and the largest artificial botanic garden in Korea. You can set off on a world tour by visiting Thailand, Japan, England, the Netherlands, France, China and more through the various countries’ traditional gardens in the World Garden section of the park. The garden is extremely large, and would require a few hours. Naganeupseng Folk Village is one of the complete and well-preserved fortified towns from the Joseon Dynasty. The town is densely packed with thatch-roofed houses. It preserves the traditions of Korea even to this day.
